And ahm I suddenly realized I couldn’t stand not being in a group, that’s when I met Brian, you know, meeting for my flatmate in the Imperial College, which is a different College from mine. I met him in a bar one night ‘cos he wrote me a letter after I replied at “We need Ginger Backer-Mitch Mitchel type drummer” and ahm Brian May wrote me this long letter, he sounded quite interesting ‘cos he liked Jeff Beck and Jimi Hendrix, so I met him and we got along pretty well…and that’s the beginning of the beginning.
